Where you wish you lived and why
So with this insanely cold weather (-6F) I wish I lived somewhere a bit warmer. I honestly hate summer, anything above 70 with humidity is miserable, but -6 is too cold for riding.
I have been thinking about moving out to arizona, anyone live out there? Like it? I figure its warm right now, I know in the summer it gets real hot (110+) but without the humidity is it that bad? Maine gets like 90+ and humid in the summer and it just sucks. Florida seems to humid in the summer, kansas gets too many tornadoes, utah has too many mormons. What do you guys think? The only real turnoffs of arizona are giant spiders and 110+ degree days. How is nighttime? Does it cool off to reasonable temps? |
RE: Where you wish you lived and why
Home prices are in the crapper, and the average time a home is on the market is over 24 months. Bad investment to move there right now.

RE: Where you wish you lived and why
58 and partly cloudy right now, with a 3% chance of rain and tonights low will be 41. PERFECT!
I dont graduate for a few more months anyways. |
RE: Where you wish you lived and why
im with timmy.....im also from maine and it sucks....id love to live in the south like virginia, the carolina's, Georgia or Florida.
|
RE: Where you wish you lived and why
Call me ignorant, but I cannot STAND the southern accent. Everyone down there says I talk too fast and say 'wicked' too much. Although it does seem like up here 10% of women are attractive, down there its like 60%

RE: Where you wish you lived and why
I live in McKeesport about 20 mins from the city.. Where you at? Most of our snow is all gone too.. but i went to the steeler game last night and froze my ass off. I hate the cold.
|
RE: Where you wish you lived and why
Must be a rural area. Any buildings over 5 stories high and I want to puke. City is fun to visit, for a few hours. Living out in the woods alone is more fun.

Hawaii...Maui in particular
If you've been there.....you know why this would be the place to live http://mauibythesea.com/Images/Conte...45_Maui_fs.jpg |

Oh and so i'm not thread jacking, I would be down for living in the paddock of one of the tracks down south somewhere so I could do riding year around. |
RE: Where you wish you lived and why
^+1 riding all year round would be a dream come true.. I still try to get out during the winter months but most of the time its torture.

RE: Where you wish you lived and why
Said it before and love ATL but my pick would be San Diego.
Looking at crime rates, quality of living, weather etc.. it is usually ranked in the top 10 best places to live. (cept for the high real estate prices) p.s. A UGA hot chick say "heaaay" to you with a southern drawl is a beautiful thing. |

I lived in Vegas for a short time when I was 19. But it was a couple of months after 911. So all the casinos had big layoffs. Getting work was tuff too so I came back to WA. If the housing was better in Vegas or Arizona I would probably make the move.
I like and hate living here. |
