What a great question. Home base would be in the hills above Monaco, with a villa in southern Spain...mmm, lovely. Then I would pester George Lucas on Lake Como about why Episode I thru III sucked so bad...then see what all the hub-bub is about down in Surfer's Paradise, OZ.
But truly, La Jolla is impossible to beat...except by its own traffic...and the occasional landslide...
