Default Where sea meets sky ..

or does it??

I spent an hour or so down at the Wirral Country Park again today and snapped these ..took my old fuji6900 zoom, this camera is truly ancient ..I got it about 2001 and its failing but still takes really nice pics if you take your time with it ... I like this first one because of the lack of clarity where the sky meets the sea .. this is exactly how it was today, freezing cold but bright and blue skies with mistyness in the distance

I zoomed in ...

The Estaury was so beautifully calm too with a complete lack of wind :-)

Finally before leaving snapped this which shows the Welsh hills across the estuary ..
we used to come here a lot, one of those places you forget is really nice and on your doorstep but often dont go because its so close ..

Nice pic's Jules
Still does not look that cold though ..... and it is great that you are still getting down to the water kiddo.....

BTW- good to see the scroll bar is back missy
Oooh it was soo so cold ..lol, luckily with no breeze and a long coat it was bearable before I had to go back to the car ..all the ponds were frozen up solid too .. I never ventured down the cliffs though, I wouldnt make it back up ..lol

So I know you missed my scroll bar, the camera may be old but its still 3.3 Mps .. now if photobucket would let me post more than 1024 x 768 I could give you a whopper of a scroll bar!!

Hey look everyone!!! Surprise surpise!!! More amazing photography from Juliet that makes the rest of us look like we are using crappy cell phone cameras even when we are not and snapping pictures with our eyes closed.

You never fail to impress me. I especially like the first and third ones where you can't tell where the horizon is at all. I'm seriously thinking about hitting you up for the original of the first one to use as my computer wallpaper.

Beautiful pics Jules!! You have real talent behind the lens.

You old flatterer ..lol

I am happy to send you the original file ..its actually 6.6 Megapixel in size because it was that old SuperCCD fuji used that doubled the pixels of the image from that of the actual sensor :-) ... check your email
