Got a buddy that swore by AMsoil but was changed by Repsol. He says his bike is quieter at idle... I didn't notice

 

I buy the Repsol blend so I can only say it's like $35+ for a gallon jug. I know single quarts are like $9.

It amazing how new oil in the bike can increase mileage so damn much. I was at the point where I should have been out of fuel two days back but when i put gas in there it took one gallon less than I thought I needed.

I've never had a issue with a fram filter.

PureOne filters are not meant for motorcycles. I know the part numbers but the material is so fine that it causes a bit too much pressure drop for bikes. I called Purolator and they specifically told me not to use the PureOne filters on my bike. They do have ML (motorcycle) filters though and I got a handful for something like $3.50 each from Amazon. They are sealed with the plastic and look just like the OEMs without all the Japanese writing.

As far as Fram goes, that's all I used to use on my last truck. Once I started seeing test data and how they were constructed there is no way I'll ever use another one again, especially on a motorcycle where an engine failure or problem could cause immediate physical harm.

 

I use mobile 1 full synthetic.

Whats wrong with the fram filters? Got any articles i could read online?

 

So where can I get an oem filter? I don't have a honda stealer by me...

 

i just bought amsoil because i cant find mobil one around here anymore,i hope it works out ok.
