This reminds of a girl at school that I talked to. She claimed that her beatle was modified and could get to 180mph and seriously believed it was faster than my bike. I argued with her for about 5 minutes and then I just laughed at her.

It'll cook along alright, the Turbo makes a pretty big difference over the standard 4 cylinder (except the 07's and their 5 cylinder engines). Cruising around town it's pretty quick (as compared to her previous 2002 Ford Taurus). It handles suprising well thanks to it's low center of mass and wide stance. The only thing I've noticed is that, at least in automatic (wife can't drive a standard... I know, I know) trim, it seems like it's gearing is kinda low. I figure it'll do about 110-120 before it runs out of revs... maybe a little more. At 70 it's pushin' over 3K of it's 6K redline. Bah, it serves it's purpose, and it's more than enough car for it's driver, my wife. She loves driving it and it makes her happy. If only she was a good driver...

I drive, well.....a third gen lxi, lol

1989 Honda Accord LX-i, 2.0L 5 speed manual. 382,000 miles and still running like a dream! Unfortunately the body has gone to hell (believe it or not, the pictures do it ALOT of justice )... 13 salty Chicago winters were most definitely NOT kind on my rear 1/4 panels, and the clearcoast is peeling pretty badly now too especially on the roof, and the carpet and half the interior plastics are currently out. But she runs great, still reliable as they come, everything works, cold a/c.... never let me down over the past 7 years, so I sure can't complain
