RE: when no one else would believe
i would have LOVED to see the patriots play the bears...last time we were in the superbowl we destroyed them...im thinking it'll be a close game...im gonna go with bears 27 colts 24...robbie gould kicking a game winning field goal as time expires (as the colts past fewseasons have come to tragic ends on the foot of a kicker, it only seems fitting)

Yup, Catman, you were the lone fan on the grassy knoll. I think many people had a real sentimental attachment to the Saints, because of the hurricane and how bad they were last years vs this year (amazing!!!). Another factor was Grossman's unpredictability. To me it is a sad situation when you have to say,"As long as he doesn't totally screw up, I think we should win." Oh well, bask in the glory of your team going to the big show!

as far as grossman is concerned, its more of a "manage the game, make the throws when needed (which he's been doing the past couple weeks, excluding the greenbay game) and hand off alot to jones and benson" rather than "as long as he doesnt totally screw up"
