That's because I'm probably the only avid cyclist on here so far who has read this thread. Motorcycling to me is secondary to bicycling. If I'm heading out to work and it's going to be a nice sunny day my bicycle will be my choice of transportation. I do it because I enjoy it and it keeps me in great shape throughout the year.

As I mentioned yesterday I did not answer your "what's your score" poll. I started to, until I got to the part about cyclists. That doesn't mean that I won't say a few things about it before going on to the next thread. If my replies bug you it was not my intention to do so. If you don't like it then no one is forcing you to reply. It's not that hard.

114 for me. Should've had smack a girl on the *** while she hanging out the window at the hangout spots !!! They see my "Saab" headlights coming now and get back in the car. Nothing like a nice smack at 30 mph or a nice squeeze at 10-15 mph

After I started, I figured out it was going to be easier to add up what I HADN'T done.

But it's only a 135.

Looking at all the other scores I feel very responsible after riding off and on for 40 years (including yesterday). Like others, most of this stuff was way back in the past.

Shame on you thats sexual harassment..

My veiw on this stupid argument (i say stupid because smacking a cyclist wasnt meant to be taken seriously like uve taken it... it was supposed to be humor... so you started a confrontation out of nothing) anyway... while bikes have a right to ride they need to stay off the road, on a sidewalk, or in a bike lane.... its just safer for everyone if they do...

If a bike is on the road they are supposed to abide by the same rules as cars... and they seem to just do whatever they see fit in a situation... i was pulling out of work yesterday to make a right hand turn and there was a row of cars parked to my left that i could not see around so i slowly skooted forward to see around them and here comes a guy on a bike (turning right) about ready to turn straight into my car i hit my brakes and he swerved hard right to avoid me...(i think i scared him $hitless) ... he was on the street if he had been on the side walk he would have seen me and none of this would have been a issue...

while my own personal actions have never put a bicyclist at risk (i say far away from them) i cant even count how many times they have put someone elses life at risk, not yielding to make a right turn at a light... not stopping at a stop sign... the list is never ending...

while pedestrians do have the right of way they shouldnt be ignorant about it and expect the world to stop for them... thats how people die

It was easier math to add up the ones I wasn't guilty of and subtract from 200.
153...But I have ridden since I was eight and included all my transgressions.

Uh, no, the OP is the one who started the confrontation in the first place by creating this ridiculous score poll and adding "smacking a bicyclist" to the list. I have yet to see his reply to my question directly to him when I asked how he would feel if a cager reached out of their car window and smacked him on the head or elsewhere as they went by.

If you do not like bicycles sharing the road with you you're free to feel that way. However, bicycles are defined as vehicles by the Department of Transportation and they have the same rights to the road as any other vehicle using it.
