What's your realistic dream car?
I know we all have the multi-million dollar dream cars we would love to have, but if you were to go out right now and buy/build your dream car what would it be?
Mine would have to be an 87-93 Mustang LX Coupe (not the hatchback), turbo charged 331 or 347 engine plus all the other goodies to keep in planted to the road. Keep the interior and exterior looking as close to stock as possible, probably either be red or black. I love this car minus the hood (I like the hood but I like the sleeper look even more).

RE: What's your realistic dream car?
Mine is going to be my 68 camaro. Its in need of a restoration. But all in all, its solid. Orignal trunk, frame, floors, doors fenders... all solid.. the rear quarters have a little issue around the wheel well, but just a few very small patches welded in and its all good.
My plan is to paint it as black as I can. Im converting to the RS option too. then I'm going to pro-tour it with 17's probably with torque thrust wheels. Probably lowered 1 or 2 inches. My plan is also to install an LS-1 vette engine with a 6 speed. This combination should weigh less than 3,000 lbs and have around 350 hp. Nothing crazy, but a real fun car to rip around in and should still get upper 20's mpg. Its pretty sad when you build a hotrod now and you consider the mpg... but I intend to drive the hell out of the car.. so...
I have a 5 year plan. not so much for the work that has to be done, but the expense of it. Spread out over 5 years doesnt seem as bad...
here is a pic of what it should look like when its done. Mine is not a convertalbe though, so take that into consideration.

RE: What'
hopefully it will be my next car. i have only ever had a VW GTi as my cars (2 generations of them). I want to upgrade to another VAG car, and go a B7 Audi A4. 2.0 liter turbo, with the AWE big turbo kit that is coming out in about a month. boosts it to a 375 Horse, 350 ft/lb torque AWD monster.
obviously all the goodies to keep it grounded and gripping and breathing well (big brake kit, coil over suspension, new wheels etc)
