You get to hang out the window of a Black Hawk helicopter as a 6000ft, 300lb fuel dump test is performed.

Well according to my business card I'm a "Facility Technician" which is just a fancy way of saying I'm in maintence. Been doing HVAC since High School and the place I work for now needed a maintence tech with a background in heating and cooling and I couldn't turn down the pay. Been here 8 months so far and it was the best decision I have ever made.

I am a Telephone Man. Work for a big company. My title is Service Technician. I do small business service orders, residential service orders, trouble tickets for both and basic dsl work. Nice job. Ride around in a truck all day and set my own pace. Can be tough at times but mostly feel like I get paid more than my value. With the decline of land lines, my job loses security every day. I have to bank on dsl improving and a tv product we are now selling. Future doesn't look to bright right now.
