What's under your PC's hood?

What's under your PC's hood?
I didn't know dork about computers until I wanted to play better games. I went and bought a video card, installed it, played for months, and then wanted something faster! Let's see what yous gots. I'll start, even though it's cutting edge 2003 ancient shizzle:
AMD 2500+ Barton on an Asus A7N8X-E. Nvidia 6600GT (Hey, DirectX8 looks great) from EVGA and 1 Gig of RAM. My case is a piano-black finish HTPC style Antec which lays on its side like a DVD player. I do have a wireless mouse and keyboard (told you, cutting edge, lol) and I'll play thru headphones usually. The monitor is a 20" NEC FE2111 CRT in black (thanks Maximum PC) with Logitech peripherals.
If you've never built a PC before, it's easy. All you need is a phillips head screwdriver and some patience. There's a wide degree of speed available, and what's slow to some, may seem fast to others. It's seriously no harder than Legos. Plus when you first turn it on, you're like "It's alive!"

RE: What's under your PC's hood?
This may come as a real big shock to most of you some of you already know it I really like to build computers. We have no less than 3 desktop PCs running now, and one laptop, and there's only two of us here . So here is , what's under the hood of the one I'm using right now, with a picture of the Cabinet would get one with the digital camera, but it's dead right now. So the stock photo have to do. And here it is, and all of the components

RE: What's under your PC's hood?
My computer is 7 years old, recently replaced the motherboard cos it got zeroed after flood caused an electrical short in June. Used to upgrade my computer all the time, only to find that your always, always, having to do it. So just said "Stuff this for a joke matey" and stuck with wot I had, and seriously have not had any problems (apart from the usual Microsoft ones). You can get caught up to much wiith computers & end up like this guy.

RE: What's under your PC's hood?
Meh, you guys suck, I was even looking at my next system components last night, but I still don't have enough flow to build another system yet. I currently am running an Athlon 64 2.0GHz with 1GB Crucial DDR, 2x160GB Seagate Barracuda (only model of drive I will buy), 256MB ATI Radeon X850XT Pro, and in my custom modded case. Only have a 17" Samsung Syncmaster, but I really like those monitors, hoping to upgrade to dual 19"s like I have at work.
Also, when I upgrade I'm moving to at least an Athlon X2 2.0GHz, 4GB DDR2, and I'm going to put it in the Antec Nine Hundred. I'm not sure what video card I will use since my current ATI is AGP and the new board I get will more than likely only run PCIe. Anyone have any suggestions for a graph card? I have been to hell and back with both Nvidia and ATI.
Here is the new case I am getting:
