Well sense there has been a rash of 'how fast you can go' threads lately. I thought I'd start a thread about how slow you can go on your bike, esp sense it takes more skill to go slow than it does to go fast.

Personally I can go slow enough you can wake next to me n pass me lol.

 

I can go pretty slow when behind cars at a light...but it's not the most stable.

 

I can go as low as 3 mph before I put my feet down

 

1 mph...swear on my life...it was WILD!

 

i can go 1 mph in forward or REVERSE!

Great thread, this is something that I actually practice. The u-turn box in the advanced MSF course is another great thing to practice.

 

IDK exactly, but pretty damn slow. If you learn to work the clutch and throttle enough, you can run through a line at a stop sign without putting your foot down. It bugs me the most when I have to put my foot down just for a second and then go again. Normally I just do the swangin thing behind slow traffic. "Sorry officer, I was just warming up my tires."

 

-2mph. When I go in reverse.

 

You can balance the bike at zero mph for a few seconds if you try .. i do it all the time when coming to a full stop behind a car just as the light turns green.
Tight, slow u-turns with oncoming traffic however take more skill which I'm forced to work on every time I ride home.
