To me a Litre bike is for people who want to raise straight up hell on a bike. Someone who likes to rip around town super fast and enjoys staying at 180mph+. Or doing wheelies starting at 100mph. Now my buddy had an R1 before he sold it. He was straight up crazy and a 1000 was truly what he needed. He did start out (After riding dirtbikes for years) on a CBR600 F3 (that I currently own) But most people I know have no need for a 1000 and never will.

Which if I lived in a flat straight area(Which I don't) like the coast of Florida or Kansas where you don't have winding curvy roads. Then a Litre or Hyabusa, or other Superbikes would be alright since all there is to do is go fast. But living near mountains and curvy roads 600s are the way to go.

Then again I"m from Atlanta which is the land of Busa's. People here consider 600rr's good beginner bikes and a Squidxer1000 you industry standard.

there are just as many idiots who buy 600 or 750cc bikes and have no idea what they're doing... doesn't matter what size. I bought a 954 because it looks fuggin bad *** and at 6'8 I felt cramped on the 600 so I bumped it up.

Funny thing is I own a 929RR and couldn't imagine stepping down to wind up toy like a 600cc. might as well ride a moped.

No need to dust it off, just get it from your sister it's probably still warm. I did ride that one to its fullest potential though![&:]
