WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST BIKE?
First learned to ride a YZ125.
Stepped up to a YZ250 - was still young and couldn't even kick start it. My dad would start it for me and if I went down in the woods, you prayed you were near a downhill. I learned real quick how not to lay it down.
First street bike(s) - BMWs and Harleys (dad's of course). Both like riding tanks but hey I was young and it was a two wheeled machine.

first bike... two ysr 50's ('89 & '90). they were MINT and sold 'em both for $1500 back in '94. i'm so pissed every time i think about it. those things are worth $$$$$ now. then i had '91 zx7. now i'm enjoying my 600rr!
Technically, I started out at 7 years old with a Honda XR100R Dirt Bike. That thing was the ****!! I still miss that thing to this day. Now I'm 18 with my first street bike, which is a Black 2005 CBR600RR
I like probably 75% of everyone else had a Honda Z50, when i turned 5y-old. Progressed through every Honda 4-stroke dirt bike up to a 93 XR600R.....My mothers rule was no bikes on the street while i was under her roof...I graduated college in 98, moved out, went straight to the Honda Dealer i worked at for 6-years through HS and college and bought a 98 XR650-L....The bike was a monster....Traded in 03 for a new XR-650L(Dont know why, only a sticker change)...Then to the '05 CBR1000-RR i have now..Still miss the dual-sport though....Should have kept it....
Over the 6-years i worked at the bike shop i got to try out hundreds of bikes from cruisers to crotchrockets. Got my Liscense on a 88 NX-250, and probably put close to 1000 miles on a NX-650 we had at the shop in the corse of a year.
So i guess you can say i went from Dual-Sport to Super-Sport....I have always and will always "RIDE RED"
