First bike was a 1992 Honda VFR Interceptor. It could not bring up the front wheel unless SERIOUS clutching was involved. Good learner bike but may be too heavy for a lot of beginners. I rode it for 1500 miles before I got my leftover 954.

My first motorcycle that I bought when I turned 18 back in 1986 was a leftover 1985 Kawaski 900 Ninja red and black just like the one that Tom Cruise had in Top Gun. I had if for about one month and sold it to buy a new 1986 VFR750. The VFR was a wheelie machine compared to the 900. I only had it for a year, ended up with too many tickets (wheelie ticket, unsafe lane changing, 120 in a 55 etc..) the usual stuff teenagers do.

i see alot of people start out with 600's or the f series.. any reason? everyone told me dont buy anything less then 750.. i heard stories of people getting left..lmao so i figured if i got a 900 i wouldnt want to sell my back right away..i could keep up with the R1's etc

oh and there isnt a law that you have to sell a bike to get a different one having 2 bikes is great!

Kawaski 3 cylinder two stroke 500cc. After riding that flexi-frame head-shaking demon, everything else is effortless. Yes I still own it. Evil or not, it's still my HS sweetheart. http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2...1600/KH500.jpg
