I live right on the canal system between the city of Chester and the town of Llangollen ..this whole system is beautiful and when I was a child my parents owned a boat on the canals in the mid 80's ..we used to go from Chester City to Lllangollen by boat over a period of about three days or more ... there is some spectacular scenery not least the aquaducts at Chirk and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct ... lots of pics coming up soon ... I have some amazingly detailed ones I am just sorting through :-)
