Default What is unconditional love?

Lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car for a few (3) hours. Come back and see which one is happy to see you!

We must also remember that dogs have (at best) the brain capacity of a five year old.

Unconditional love is when you will accept the other person under any condition.
No matter what. Even if she slits your throat.
It is nearly impossible to love somebody unconditionally because as soon as you start to your mind will throw all kinds of the conditions your looking past trying to love unconditionally and it creates a kind of manifestation where you end up basically trying to prove to yourself it is unconditional. If you try to do it on purpose you will only be defeating yourself but it helps to think about it when you come into conditions in your love life. True unconditional love has to come naturally...
I can go on and on. blah blah blah

I’m in total agreement with you, but it still doesn't invalidate the comparison

You're right about Rottweilers. Smart, good memory, and the ability to reduce rawhide to its basic atomic structure in less than sixty seconds.

'Unconditional love':- Putting your last dollar in the tank so you can go for a ride

But seriously , some parents know all about unconditional love , it's about giving but expecting nothing in return , a difficult thing to do .

Other types of love are inherently selfish
