What should i get?
I will soon be moving to an apartment without garages to lock my bike up. So now i will have to figure out how i will lock my bike up so that it wont be as vulnerable to be stolen. The area where i am moving has quite a bit of thefts ( Denton, Texas if anyone is familiar with the Dallas area. ) so i want my bike to be protected the best it can be. What type of security system/Locks should i look at? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.[/align]
I dont know man, the only real way to keep her safe is in a garage. You can try disc locks, alarms, chocks, or lever locks, but if they want it, they are gonna get it. can you not get a place with a garage?
Mine sleeps outside too man... first couple weeks you'll wake up in the middle of the night and check on it but after a while it gets better!
I have a Xena disc lock with the 110dBalarm, a bike alarm, a Nelson-Rigg cover that always stays on the bike when it's parked, and I'm lucky enough to park within a stones throw to a couple police cruisers who live in my complex. Oh, and I have full coverage just in case it does get ganked.

Get some type of chain and lock so you can lock it TO something. Most of the time
thieves just throw it in the back of a truck rather then ride it away. And cover it, Out of Sight

Big ol' **** chain. Also, they make permanant bike covers that bolt to the ground and it makes a semi circle shape that your bike is under. Pretty neat, if you APT complex allows it.
