what removes rust?
Well here ya go, I found this.... eh nevermind. Those are sandblasters. I've been told that there are tips for air compressors that work though. I'm sure they exist. I just can't find any right now. I've only used sandblasters.

I wouldnt take it to anyone to get the rust off.. Labor is a killer man. just do that small **** urself. unless u have load of dough to throw around. I mean IMO they are only pipes.. get a wire brush for a grinder... or just steel brush and do it by hand. then spray some hi-temp paint on it and call it a day.

if you send then to shop or something, after someone a$s rapes you on labor you might as well forked out some extra cash and buy a new set.

Yeah i got the hi-temp paint im just trying to get all the rust off so i dont have to worry about a layer of rust eating through my pipes/paint.

Grab some small rags and soak them in it then just wrap the buggers around the pipes ..
Its just like on site(in situ) soaking mate ..
then get the bloody wire brush after soaking to finish the buggers off ...

If ur Tim, i'll be Al and remind you to wear ur safety glasses!!! sand + eyes = BAD. hehe but we all know that... but hey, I work in construction... and seen some things u wouldnt believe.
