RE: What kind of work do you guys do?
I work for a industrial design company as a senior model maker. I build anything from atv's, powertools, lawn tractors, and medical equipment. Everthing is built from scratch using engineering data and design data. These models are used for shows, marketing, testing and research. One of the best things were I work is the number of riders I work with. Our company has 30 employees and 11 of us ride. We will soon be pushing for less black top and more pavement in the parking lot. For a better look at what I do check our website out at www.brooksstevens.com.

I work as a Field Service Engineer for an Optics company. Basically, I install, troubleshoot/repair and modify high end integrated electronic systems that make things visible. Field service jobs whether engineer or technician are awesome. You have a lot of freedom because you mostly work in the field and they typically pay pretty well.
