I'm debating on these. What's the approxmiate cost? And HOW waterproof are they?

looks good man.

However, if I may offer a suggestion. I would use wide angle view leds. It looks like you are using narrow angle ones by the shape of the led crown. If you are indeed using narrow angle ones, I would strongly suggest getting 180 deg ones.

If you look at the led from just off center with a narrow view one, the brightness drops dramatically. They may be ok for someone directly behind you, but if someone is just off center to your bike, they probably won't see them. With the 180deg ones, they are extremely bright no matter how far off center you look at them. As long as your not in front of the led's, you can see them.

the good news is that most led's share common dia's, and you could easily swap them out.

I can do a set for about 120 parts and labor. And I can assure you that water won't be an issue when they're complete

The flat tops are usually wide angle. But, if your ordering on ebay, you want the 180 deg viewing angle ones. Look at the description and it should state what the viewing angle is. Wide angle can range from 60 deg's all the way up to 180, so you want to make sure your getting the right ones.

Looks good JP, you can put silicone sealant and they will be waterproof for sure. when i did mines i put the same kind of leds and they look very bright...
