I just got an email from an attorney that my ex hired...here's the story first...while we were togather, we had a joint loan (I was the primary), well when we broke up she just maxed everything out, so being that the joint loan was still active, since she went hog wild, just had to have that $2,000 purse, well I "increased" the loan to make up for what she took...ANYWAYS, so, she said that I technically stole from her saying that I didn't notify her about "increasing" the loan ammount, when I was the primary AND I think that the bank wouldn't of ever did it if she HAD to be notified or whatnot, and I was under the impression that WHOEVER's on the loan could make decisions. So, I called the bank just to double check and the guy kinda laughed and said "...well sir, youre the primary, but that doesn't matter because you or Ms. ******** can make purchases/decisions, etc."...which that explained it all, from what he said, I didn't do anything wrong. What do you guys/gals think? Is my ex just being a total bitch? Do I have ANYTHING to worry about?

 

in a country where you can sue anybody for anyreason and sometimes win .. id say be worried untill a judge says not too. personally i dont think you did anything wrong. so you increased the limit to pay off the balance ? did you close the account after that ? **** i wouldve . dont let that "bitch" take anymore but you both were on the loan she techincally if she wanted that 2k purse she had the right to do it. but her saying you stole from her that is total bs !

 

Yeah, I took out extra to pay off the loan, under the same account...then called her and notified her that I wanted to close the account, so she agreed, the account's closed and now I'M paying on it because he refuses to, and me being the primary, I'm obligated to do so...it's bulls**t, but yeah she technically did have the right to go out and buy whatever and even though I was pissed, I wasn't even thinking about doing anything legally...I guess the good news is what the guy at the bank told me, plus I re-read all of the paperwork and I did no wrongdoing, it's just that she ruined my god damn life, she always does stupid s**t...IDK, and you don't have to quote bitch lol, she IS definately a bitch. I don't like to call women that BUT she definately deserves it. I mean, like I said, I re-read the paperwork, which has her signature on everything so wtf is she really trying to do?

 

get back at you because now she doesnt have access to the money she was going to keep screwin you out of because she knows you wouldve kept paying on it and she wouldve kept taking. now she wants to try and get that last shot in but joke is on her beacause she is payin legal fees and **** and wasting time and in the end she will deffinetly prove to everyone what a bitch she is

 

My ex wife screwed me galore, too. She ended up with the house, a houseful (and six years worth) of "stuff", and the good car. I ended up with the 2nd mortgage, a Ford Tempo, andgarbage bags in the trunk that held "my" stuff. I remember wondering how six years of my life could so easily fit into about five or six garbage sacks in the back of a p.o.s. car. Good luck to you, my friend, you have my sincere sympathy!
