Enzo Ferrari!!!!!!! You don't know who Enzo Ferrari is????


I read on one of the threads that the CB designated that the bike is equipped with an inline engine (the reason why the RC-212V isn't designated as a CBR......it's not an inline, but rather a V5 engine) The R stands for Race model. (I believe that to be correct from what I've read, I could be wrong though.)

 

Okay everyone says the CBdesignated for the inline engine but is those CB really stands for??

 

Don't know. They may just be letters. Like the LX chassis that the Chrysler 300C and Magnum are based off of. LX doesn't mean anything, it's just a chassis designation. That could or could not be true with the CB.

Well after a fewphone callsto corporate, this is what I was given, when the bike was first designed it was one of many different ideas from different engineers. each engineer had a code to designate who's design belonged to who. After a translation of these Japanese symbols to something Americans can read.. CB was born as the chassis designation from that particular engineer. And theR does stand for race type.
