if you really really have the urge to learn.. go buy a cheap 03 600rr or something similar, put a decent cage on it and just get into parkinglots and beat yourself up learning..

i learned my wheelies on dirtbikes and quads..... thank god because hitting dirt doesnt hit you like concrete does.. still hurts just not as bad.

I won't lie, I pop it up a few inches in first and sometimes I drop the clutch in 2nd to get 'er up a few, but I'm a panzy when it comes to that. I just don't have the confidence to try anything more and don't want to mess up myself OR my CBR.

 

I had the front end come up one time diggin the throttle off turn..and the HESD made it feel wierd so im not going to do something that doesnt feel right mechanically....and i can hear the sounds of crunching plastic in my head when i think about it...watch some you tube videos of motorcycle wrecks....LOL..cures me everytime...and i like my 10,000 in working order...

 

I'm in your same shoes Pit. I didnt want to wreck and hurt myself or my bike. Now that the bike has been over, I just might have to take it out to a parking lot and give her a couple good clutch drops

Maybe you should see about using an older F4i. If your stunt buddies bikes are all beat up, maybe one of them would let you use theirs for a few.
