I looked at them briefly when I was researching TV's back at Christmas. Vizio is a great buy for the price point. If I was a guy tight on funds, and didnt need all the bells and whistles, and wasnttrying to set up a full viewing system. I would buy one.

My brother has that same one. It's ok, I have a 32" Samsung that looks nicer. It looks good with a 360 hooked up to it.

yeha for the price vizio is decent. theyre contrast ratio is kinda low and picture quality isnt phenomenal but for the money theyre nice.

I picked up a 40" samsung 1080p with 120hz in feb........i'm in love! [8D]

I've got the 50" and have no complaints. Consumer reports gave it a best buy rating. You can get better quality but for the price it's about as good as you can get. The pic contrast thing is easily remedied by some fine tuning and adjustments .. the factory settings suck. Another plus is the number of connections they give you .. 2 hdmi inputs etc...

no, my bad, I read it too quickly. I thought you guys where talking about the contrast (e.g. the black settings) which some have complained about on the vizio which can be adjusted. the quality can't be adjusted but imo the quality is fine and comparable to any other as long as your sitting normal distance from the t.v. .. the areas it lacks in is only noticeable if your up close to the tv. imo, the quality is comparable to any other in it's price range (if not better) .. watching dvd's or sports in hd (which is mainly what I use it for) the quality is awesome imo.

Nothing looks better to me than a Sharp Aquos, but for the $, the Vizio is fine. It is the #1 selling HD TV, and that's a function of how it looks and price.
