Get LCD, not plasma. Clearer, longer lasting, no burn-in, more colorful. Plasma is a dying technology. For a reason.

 

Actually when she asked about flatscreen types, I never even mentioned plasma nor LCD. Hoping she thinks OLED is the only real hd tv type

That's "not ready for prime time" and won't be competitive for several years. Right now it is lower resolution and smaller.
