What to buy!!?!?!?
Hey everyone well heres the idea.. buy a street 2006.. MAYBE 2007 1000RR for streets OOOORRRRR say **** street riding.. and get a 600rr track bike and hit up the track to see what i can do there this summer???
get the 1ltr
-go to town on the suspension!!!do both street and track[sm=shades.gif]
if you do,just behave when street riding

wish you could get another 54,but it has a pretty hefty price tag to over take current models
anyway good luck, either way sounds like fun!!!!

i think it depends on where you live. some places are better for street riding other places i couldnt imagine riding a street bike like oakland or newyork . but if you have some nice roads that you can enjoy everyday i say street . if not then get the track bike and go all out
well my most contributing factor is my ticket/driving history.. i actually have never got pulled over on my bike for speeding but i lost my licence from too many points about 2 years ago and everytime i get close to getting it i get in trouble for something and get it delayed again so.. supposed to get it in april so see what happend but i really like the track.. depending.. maybe i can do both
How often will you be able to go to the track and ride? I've heard of some guys going 100% track, but I just don't think I could handle not jumping on the bike and going for a ride whenever I wanted (that's what sucks about winter). I say street bike! Besides, like outsider8 said, why not do both? Why not have the best of both worlds?
Instead of getting an 07 1000rr, why not get an older 954 or 929, do all the things you want, and use it on the street and the track. That way you can ride whenever you want, but you can also tear up the track. Plus buying an older bike you won't be out like $10k on a new one and you can use the price difference to do your mods.
It also depends if you got the hookup with a person at the track. I dont know if youve checked in to it, but almost all track places charge a hefty fee just to ride your bike on them. I say go all out track if you want to get into competing, and i guess if you got the muulllahh. But youll miss those nice sunday drives.
