Well, it's finally happened....I'm gonna be a DAD!
Congrats!!! Get ready, being a father will be the hardest job you'll ever have but also the most rewarding and fulfulling. I remember when my wife and I brought our first son home, brought him in his car seat in the house, sat it on the floor, and wondered what the hell to do now and that our lives would never be the same. We were right, things weren't the same - theybecame infinately better.I wish you and your family a lifetime of joy!
Congrats man! just when you think you know life, this will change you yet again. I wish the best for mommy and baby being healthy.
Alright, I am going to get all mushy here!
Thanks to everyone here. I haven't been a part of an "online community" since I've been a kid. This forum has been truly awesome. I have seen some bad ones as I am sure many of you have. This forum has been a place to hang out, get to know people, as well as talk bikes. I am still relatively new to bikes, only about 1.5 years in, but because of the people here I feel I know more. I have gained wisdom and guidance from many of you, likely never knowing. Many of you make an impact in people's lives without even knowing you're doing so. I am proud to be a part of this forum and family.
That's why I wanted to share my news here. Normally, this would not be a place I would bring something like this up. But I honestly feel if I was ever in a jam, anyone here would help me out and for that I thank you. My life is going to change, for the better, and I can't wait. I will keep you all updated as things move along.
I know this sort of got off tangent a bit, but I feel it was important to let everyone here know how much this random group of people means to me! Please, everyone stay safe. Here's to many more years!

aaaand one more CONGRADULATIONS doesnt hurt!! that truly is exciting news! And i know we are all thinkin it, but what happens with the bike? i assume you keep it but im sure the riding style may change. I say that because im sure that once i hit the 'kid' phase, my fun goes out the window for safety!! hahaha Way to go! one more person added to the "Im Fertile and can prove it!" club! lol
Thanks YnB.....the bike stays...although the wife has threatened me that in one of her more "emotional states" she may hide my keys...LOL...i told her i am having copies made....she's cool with me riding just so long as i am safe....i am traditionally a pretty safe rider in that there really aren't many twisties in downtown chicago so i don't push myself much....i just like to go and take a nice ride whenever i can...(although i plan on riding a TON more than last year soooooo....)....but the bike stays and the wife is cool with it...besides the baby is gonna love bikes!!!
Congrats Tony!! Post pics when the little one arrives!!
Hope it doesn't take over your love of riding?
PS - I finally got the new swing arm!!

haha thats how i feel (when that whole time comes). there was a show on national geo a few months ago about a boy in japan that is this AMAZING piano player and he's so increadibly young. before his mother gave birth to him, she'd always put in a cd of her favorite piano player and put the radio near her stomach, and her son is now this increadibly young, increadibly talented pianist.
i told my g/f that when that time comes, she is gonna be outside in the garage as i start up the F4i, and she can sit on it as i rev it a bit, hahahahaha.
my kid's gonna be a racer

(take notes ffingers.....take notes, haha)
