Default well folks..

got a call today from the claims dept. and my bike is considered totaled. found out also that my insurance on my bike may double (in the event i bought it back and rode).....so hate to say it, but i may be done. this is one hell of a hard lesson learned and it definately sucks. not trying to sit here and preach......and im sure im stating the obvious.....but, take it easy on the streets guys.

im telling you 1st hand that one slip up, one mistake can end your passion. the worst part, i dont even remember my accident. as i said, im not preaching....but i didnt listen when i was told to "keep the street riding for the street, and the track riding for the track"...........now im paying the price for it. i knew it was a matter of time before my luck ran out....i just hoped each day that it wouldnt be THAT day. we'll see what happends, but i think im done.

its just not the same. i put 30k miles on my baby in 13 months....i LOVE street riding, i just realize now....heingsight being 20/20 as it always is...that i should have toned it down a bit. im not sure i could have a bike in my garage that i cannot go out and enjoy the fresh spring air w/, cruising down a shaded back road, taking in the sights.

i dont want to take it that far, kikepiz. man, this KILLS me. i had a friend selling a '07 600RR custom painted w/ the black/white euro colors that i was going to buy, and after my insurance check i'd only have to take a loan out for $3700, thats for a '07 600RR custom euro painted! but it appears my insurance took a **** all over that idea [&o]

Jay, bout the only thing i can think is, if you can take a few days or weeks and think it all through. Nothing good usually comes from making a rushed decision.
