i have considered it a few times, i just cant think of anything i may still want on my body 10,20,30 years from now. I do think they are cool though, have seen a lot of cool art.
For the preservation of them staying *cool* some of you may want to band together and stop the image from being ruined. Every time i see a guy thats 5 foot 10 and 135 lbs with a bicep band, or a 200lb girl with a tramp stamp i laugh.

and i was like, well it shouldnt change much since ur back doesnt really age too much, and plus, im not gonna be walking around with my shirt off when im 50 haha
I'll admit. I got my first one just out of a spur of the moment thing. Didnt think about it, Went in there and loved snowboarding and told him to tattoo a burton sign on me(i was supposed to get sponsored by them) Untill i broke my back..Now i have a meaningless burton tattoo. right on my forearm. I will probably get it covered. That is the ONLY one i regret getting. Except my last supper. just cause the artist that did it really screwed me. He took other artist work of the internet and out of magazines and put them in his portfolio. So i thought he was an awesome artist. He did my last supper. and it turned out horrible. I mean horrible. so he just said..Well, i guess i will just charge you $300 for it. So i payed his dumbass and never went back.
Maybei shouldnt care i guess, i have just always thought if i was to get something it should have a lot of meaning to me. It seems i can never think of that one thing. Plus i have burns on my upper body, i have room maybe on my right arm, but the burns may have to be worked around.
^ i think that could look sweet! making a positive out of a negative is what you have to do. Burns/scars tell their own story, now you can keep adding pages. I fully support tattoos, even if they have no meaning, who gives a hoot? its your life, your body and you only live once. go for it.
I talked to my friends artist a few times, and the main thing he said is it could be hard. If he gets too near any of the burns the ink will instant run, and it will turn to crap fast. I have had a couple of ideas i would have liked, basiclly a sleeve working around the burns, but i was advised against it.
