don't think i'd put my baby on one of those.

It's designed to safely haul 400 pounds, RR's curb weight 410 pounds. Put it on with 3 gallons of gas and you're good to go. 5 gallons of gas and you're overweight...

i still wouldn't touch that thing.

Yea I believe that is made for small dirtbikes and scooters, not a full size motorcycle. I know trailers arent cheap, but is worth the money.

[sm=badidea.gif][sm=signs006.gif] Get a real trailer. One that can hold up to 600 lbs if you're just hauling one bike.

When you hit a bump your bike will weight a lot more than 400lb coming back down.

A cbr wouldn't even have the ground clearance to get on that. Look how steep that thing is when it's shown on that Jeep.

I have something similar and it works just fine both ways for a 600 mile trip. I wouldn't buy a generic no-name model off of ebay, though, I bought a joe-hauler brand carrier off of mawonline. http://www.mawonline.com/newsite/joe...e_carriers.htm

I don't believe they sell the loading ramp for that carrier off that site but I would recommend getting one. I know there are other people off this board who have used the same type of thing, as I remember posting a question similar to yours before I bought it. Just make sure you have a class 3 hitch because it is going to be nearly 500 lbs (weight including hauler) of purely tongue weight.
