Like deltemis said, I don't trust him either. I use the internet and check the Doppler and satellite images if there is a chance of rain. There have been times when the weatherman said 70 percent chance and nothing all day. I got caught out in the rain once also, due to the 20 percent chance of rain. Got caught in an effing downpour. So like I said, I check Doppler and radar on the internet first.

during the summers here there's always a chance of an afternoon shower, so unless the weather says 0% it's always a possibility. i use the weather channel and accuweather to keep tabs on the general forecast, but there's also a guy that lives near me who maintains his own weather page - kinda nice, as the weather can vary greatly even in different parts of town.

I check online too. I look at the hourly and pretty much anything under 45% around here is good to ride. I look at the radar from the previous 6 hours and track how other storms farther west are moving and if there is one close to me I use that to determine how this one will move. But I always look outside at the clouds too to make sure

I dont trust the local weather guy cause he is full of **** but i do trust myself and some of my peers when it comes to forecasts.
Anyone thats looking for a good site can use this to get up to date forecasts for an area near you. Click the map to find which ICAO is closest to you. Or load the Metar java tool large version. That will get you everything you ever need. haha
ADDS - METARs
That is what us military members use to dissiminate our Forecasts to others.
