Which way is she Spinning?
For me the trick is to lose concentration, like thinking about anything other than the spinning girl and she will change directions for as long as I want.
Bow down before me mortals!

Haha - the .gif changes it's rotation automatically. It's a joke, gag... whatever you want to call it.
Nothing scientific about it. Sorry for those who felt they were creative. The only creative person is the one who tricked everyone into thinking it's a real test.
Leave the page open and you will see that it simply changes on it's own.

sorry Kid...you're wrong...although partially correct....it's not a gif that merely shifts from left to right...the brain preceives the rotation....depending on what "brained" you are will determine how you see the rotation...download the gif and you'll see (if you can, i haven't tried it)...it's technically the same as the old pictures where they ask do you see an old lady or a young lady....neither is correct, it's drawn so that both can be seen and let's your brain decide which....
it's not a 3d image so it can't have a rotation....it's a flat image so your brain fills in the part that they 2d leaves our....so although you are partly correct in that it's not spinning in any direction....your're brain WILL make it spin in some direction...some people will just be able to see both....
my co-worker said he had seen this before and could only make it spin clockwise...he told me he COULDN'T make it go anti-clockwise....after assuring him it could...he concentrated and got it to spin...
you want a REAL trick...look at it hard and you can make it seem like she isn't rotating at all....just twisting left to right and back again.....!!! give that one a shot!

yeah i have to say i can make it turn both ways....i can't make it stop and switch but only i have to do is gaze away where it's out of my vision...think which way i want it to spin...look back and it's spinning that way...guess i be super-smart!

exact same thing for me.
ugh....trust me....it doesn't spin either way...it's an optical illusion....your brain fills it in...you can't make a 2d image spin....your brain has to fill it in to make a 3d image spin....so if you make an image that is pretty much symmetrical and animate it right...it will look like it's spinning....
i got your post before you edited catamayo!!
