Default Is waving going out of style?

Is it just me? Or are rider's waving less and less these day's? Year's ago, just about every bike you passed would wave back at you. Now it seems like less then half probably. Maybe its because they start to wave and then remember the $20 that it just took to fill up their tank and get all pissed off.

^^ hahaha I guess you are right. Its wierd anyway, everone will try go as slow as possible to save the fuel and it makes the approching bike much more visible to wave..

Hey now, only 17.60 for me to fillup. Depends on how low I go.

But I guess it depends on where you ride. I get more people here in MD not waving than I did in Ohio

I find that alot people here don't wave. I'm in Charlotte, NC now originally from PA..... So... alot of times I don't just because I feel like a jerk when they don't wave back =( But I wish people still did it just makes you feel good! =)

I've only been riding 3 years, so I can't say what it was like years ago, but I can say that I am noticing that even just this year, I get less friendly people on bikes than last year.
