Default Waving from a car

Hopefully this thread won't end up so controversial as the last.

As more bikes fill the roads, I'm noticing a smaller and smaller percentage of cruisers will wave back to me. A lot of you have talked about how they don't like us crazy, irresponsible sport bikers. So I had this thought: If I dropped a hand out my window while driving my car, would the think I'm one of them, just ignore me, or what? Has anyone ever waved at a biker from a car? What did they do?

Cruiser guys have to look straight ahead and keep both hands on the bars, or else the bucket-of-bolts couch they're riding will come apart ...

Not so fast on that one spriritRR, it totally depends on the person (ps dont tell but there is a mod around here that drives a HD!!!) However personally if I get waved at either by a bike, car, suv or atv if I can wave back I will. Just curtsy. <-- (spell check corrected me on that one. still doesnt look right) *shrugs shoulders*

I find that when I wave from a car... which I seem to do without even thinking... sportbike riders typically wave back but cruisers dont... not saying all dont but typically thats how it goes for me...

the funny thing is , you wave to be courteous and show your love for the sport, who cares if some a$$ clown on a bike dont wave. your either a waver or your not, but dont let it **** ya off if ya dont get a wave back. i wave or nod and move on my way. besides half of the peeps out there shouldnt take their eyes off the road or take a hand off the bars...peece
