Ok. Who's into it. I'm about to get back into the game and just wondering what everyone's setup is. Won a danger den kit off of ebay with a dual 120mm fan rad and just a cpu block. I might add in a northbridge block but I'm not sure if you can water cool the 780i motherboard.

Q6600 @ 3Ghz air (can do 3.6 easily). I had it at 3.8Ghz but fried my 680i memory voltage controller/regulator
evga 780i
Ballistix DDR2 1066 (2 gigs) (highest I got it is 1100 or something)
Dual BFG 8800 GT in SLi (probably put them on their own water system so they dont keep the heat up on the cpu)


So what ya got?

 

air cooled for me :-D my rig is good enough for now til summer when i update everything and switch to an intel-mobo and intel pcu...

 

My friend just got his watercooling equipment. He has a separate radiator for his GPUs. Then again, he has an unconventional setup. His case is actually his file drawer of his IKEA desk.

 

Used to do it, and had fun but no more. I spend that money on guitars.

I have thought about doing it, but I cant get over the fact that if something happens to one of those lines....there goes your system

 

Always wanted one, just never invested the money. I just bought an Antec 900 instead.

 

antec 900 FTW..thats what i got too...i havent felt the need to turn the fans up above low at all though...

Coolant leak FTMFL! (for the motha F'n Loss)

 

Coolant is supposed to be non-conductive.

 

It happened to a system here at work...

The fluid used is not conductice to electricity, so it's not supposed to harm your system...

BUT

In this case, the fluid leaded into a PCI slot and ruined it as it dried. Other electronics were unharmed.
