Had it on my new computer at work and hated it. It looks nice and pretty, but just another piece of crap they rushed out before fully testing it.

had it for about 7 months or so. Not a problem. In fact I kinda like it. Just familiarize yourself with it, customize it, and keep it updated. You need to embrace change with computers. Dun be skerd.

Vista is a piece of GARBAGE...

The one and only thing I wanted on top of XP was better performance. - Vista is soo much slower than XP and all it adds is a prettier look - Not much is familiar to the prior experience - Networking is horrible and confusing.

The security alerts are as annoying as they can be and give me no warm fuzzy feeling about the security in it. - Definitely a feature that I disabled immediately. - Sidebar looks good, but eats up resources way beyond the benefits. - And it does not seem very compatible with old apps.

The only thing worse than Vista, is Office 2007 - NOTHING looks the same - I work helpdesk and our users at least are used to the File, Edit, View, etc. look at the top - Office 07 takes that away and adds some goofy "Start" style button to do the same - sort of. - To top this upgrade off, they go and change the file formats (After 10+ years of forward/backward compatibility) - Enjoy the new pptx, xlsx, docx, etc formats. - They do have a converter for older apps, however they aren't perfect. - Office 2007 has been nothing but trouble. - Makes me really want to push Sun's OpenOffice.

Enough of a rant for the night...
