He looks still puppy, maybe 11-14 months? Pits with a good owner are AWESOME dogs. They are very sweet and family-oriented. High intelligence and loyalty.

However, they are breed to fight other DOGS, so they are usually best as singles.

That bolded statement is not exactly true though MadHat. More research should be done on a breed before you go spouting off "Facts" APBTs were not Bred for dog fighting anymore than Rotties were. Yet both are used widely in dog fighting rings.

Of course many APBTs can be dog aggressive i'm not arguing that fact. It IS indeed part of the dog's heritage - however its not anywhere near as common as the general public might think. A Further EDIT: you are indeed correct that anyone who owns a Bully breed dog of any sort with another dog of any sort even after years of peace should be prepared to have to crate and rotate the dogs

APBT's were used in Bull Baiting - long before they were ever tossed in the Box - which was highly popular in England. Many dogs have a history of Bull baiting, or other various edible animals.
