VENTING!!!
So I take the long way home last night through the canyon cause the weather has been so damn hot and I wanted the ocean breeze. Being geared up, ya'all know how hot it is and how a cool updraft can raise your spirits. I'm not into crazy speed but I am doing maybe 70 on some easy twisties. I look behind me are there are two guys on GSXRs comin up fast. I move over to let em pass and these guys realize that I am a woman. These jackasses start takin both sides and start to box me in. Is this the way to flirt? Jeez, We are in the canyon!! I was so pissed off, but I wanted to ride safe so I just let off the throttle and slowed it down so these guys would realize that I didn't want to "play". For about 2 miles they kept at it, and I was stuck between them. i'm thinkin to myself how the hell am I get myself out of this jam when these guys decide I wasn't anymore fun and they start to pull away. (Remember, we are still in the canyon) I am watching these guys and one reaches into his pocket and pulls something out. Next thing I know, I got sand hittin me. All I can say is Thank God I was geared up and wearing a full face helmet cause that stuff woulda hurt. Sometimes I wish I were a guy, I would chased these jerks down and kicked some serious ***. ARRGGHH! WTF? We all ride and there is no need to be that way. I could have died if I went down and these guys think its a joke! What do you guys think? And moreso, how could I have gotten out of the situation sooner?
It's bad enough that cagers seem to care nothing for our safety, but for other RIDERS to be that disrespectful? UGH. [:@]
I don't know that there's anything else you could have done. You were right to not give them the reaction they were undoubtedly looking for; only other thing I think you could have done is maybe slow WAYYYYYYY down to let them pass you, and possibly try to turn around (if there was a safe place to do so) and head back out of the canyon.
If you had any way of remembering at least one of their tag numbers, I'd have called the cops on them, too. There's just no excuse for their behavior.
I'm glad you're okay...

First off-sorry to hear that there are jerk-offs out there like that. Second- I don't know what you could have done differently besides stopping and I don't really know if that would have been a great idea. Who knows what they might have done? If you would have had a clear mind, which I am sure you were so pissed that you didn't, you could have tried and remembered one of their tags and reported them. Sorry to hear that situation, but at least you ARE ok.
Thanks guys! You are right, I should have had a clear head and remembered the tags. I was too pissed and yes, a little scared. The last thing on earth I was going to do was stop (shuddering to think what would have happened then). At least now i'll remember this experience and hope to hell there isn't a next one. Sure wish I had a camera mount.
Take a gun with you next time. Around a corner shoot out their front tire and then when they go over the edge go down and ask them if they are ok. If they say yes find some sand and throw it in their eyes. Again ask if they are ok? If they say yes again or even look somewhat still alive find more sand. Wash, rinse, and repeat until you're satisfied. Then steal their bike and ebay it.

Wow sorry to hear what happened, glad your ok though. That was some pretty harsh stuff they did, yeah I think you were better off not stopping though, they sounded like some up arseholes.
That really sucks that other riders would do that to you. You know you did the best thing to just slow down and let them go on. Hope you don't have to go through that kind of crap again. Don't let it make you not want to ride or scared to ride, just try to keep you head about yourself and be safe.
