Some were saying they didn't know about the surgery. HC mentioned in his last post about it, so we knew it was going to happen, just not this soon. He is expected to make a 90-100% recovery, it will just take time. He has lost all hearing in his left ear though. He's in pretty good spirits, considering all he's been through. His memory isvery fuzzy, he remembers the forum though..lol.. We would like to thank you all for your thoughts. It means alot to the both of us.

I would like to start off by saying that I am deeply sorry for the troubles that HC, yourself and your family is going through.

I can tell by following all of HC's post's and threads, that he has to large of a heart and to much spirit for this to stop him. I can tell he is a strong and curagious individual. This will be only a stepping stone for him to look at in the years to come.

I wish you all the best of luck, and please keep updating.

Let HC know that we are all waiting for his first post back.

+1. Again he is still in our prayers! I am very sorry for the complications both of you are having to go through, through all of this. But glad that his recovery rate is so high. Hang in there!

It just occured to me......

He carried swt_poet with a broken rib, punctured left lung, ruptured spleen, broken left scapula, fractured left forearm, torn ligaments and tendons in his left knee and now, quite possibly, a brain tumor.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretty damn impressed. Matter of fact, I feel like a sissy.

Swt, I'm sorry you have to go through all of this. Good luck to the two of you. If the worst thing that comes of this is some hearing loss in his left ear... then I think you are doing pretty damn good. Besides...now you can make fun of him when you are standing on his left side without him knowing.

I'm hoping for a full recovery.
