Hey all. Cruising down the road today, I spot Mr Police Man on his scoots hiding behind some bushes next to a drive. I go on by, and about 1/4 mi down the road see a dude on a sportbike comming the opposite way, he wasn't being reckless but deffinately woulda got the officers attention, so as he throws out the low-wave, I pat the top of my helmet and thumb behind me, I could see his face a bit behind the screen and he looked at me like "what the hell is this guy doing" Now.....I've always known that to be the proper sign for cop-ahead, and had folks do it for me once in a blue moon,or flashing the lights, but seems like thats a lost thing nowadays, so whats the sign for the fuzz?

that's one version, another is the palm facing down while pushing up down towards the ground for sign to "slow down" .. meaning cop ahead or any other reason to slow down such as accident, debris etc..

i just whirl my hand in the air with index finger pointed up while making the "wooo wooo" sound for extra effect to amuse myself

I never knew the head tapping thing. Can't a cop pull you over for informing someone of his hiding spot?

Ive never heard of someone patting their head for a sign that a cop is ahead... i like it though, im gonna try to remember that one
