oct 04: laid down
05 gave to douchebag to paint.
06: got back from douchebag. unpainted. after she sat outside all f'in winter[:@]
07: gave to a good friend of mine, then his dad got hospitalized and couldn't finish working on her.
last week: gave to an autobody shop.
9pm: the shop owner calls and tells me she's done. i was waiting until next week (est. time to finish) i went down and picked up a few parts and omfg are they amazing. i couldn't stop saying "that's f*ckin sick". i wasexpectingless quality than they gave me. really, i wasn't sure what i was expecting, but i didn't think they'd look this f'in good. i can't wait to get her together and ride. and put a few pics up here, i guess.lol. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh i'm freaking stoked.

i had a car in a buddies shop getting work done that was in for 2 months .. how could you let is stay there for so long 05-06 .. thats just crazy

I agree that is crazy to just let it sit for a few years over paint. You would think within that time frame you would say "f*ck it" and rattle can that sh*t yourself or hell learn to paint, take it somewhere else, or the ever so pleasent bitch&moan until you get your way.

 

Shoot, I'd buy a paint gun and do it myself after that long. No paint job can be sobad that a good buffing compound and a machine can't fix. LOL.

Damn dude i go nuts when i take my bike off the road for a day or two.... i would ratte can'ed it fo sho.
