yep...we've heard of them...until the new ninja 250, that was the most modern looking 250 out there...not too sure about the quality though...ive heard mixed things about em
They look, in fact I'm sure their Hyosung bikes, made in Korea, we have had them for a while. Started with the 250cc, now 650cc & a 1000cc coming soon, they used to do stuff for Suzuki & now have their own, motor is based on the Suzuki, the 650 is similiar to SV650, but with a little more work done on em.
They are basically a good bike, but you get wot you pay for, brakes & suspension need an overhaul. The offer some goodies though, some have heated grips & so on. Have a few followers in Oz, they will get better to, have not heard to many bad things really. They have changed the colours recently, have a look

They were having problems with the engine burning valves. Something to do with part of the air induction system. I read they removed the part from the engine on the '07 models.
I was gonna buy one, but I got lucky with my VFR.
Um is a rebadged Hyosung. The unclarity of it is, UM is suppose to build their own bike soon. There was confusion on the agreement for them to rebadge Hyo's bikes.
UM is a company that started in the '70's transporting heavy equipment vehicles to South America. After awhile they got into motorcycles for the profit.

RS going to give you A+on your research also read somewhere I think on their forum they were retrofitting a fix on all remaining stock from 2005 through 2006, that had not been sold. I have seen a couple of these on the street and they don't look bad. I think pacemaker is in a better position to comment Austria seems to be loaded down with them almost all of the a magazine articles on the bike I have seen is out of Australia they even got some kind of fuel injection system for retrofit in the land down under and I'm not speaking of mag squirt
yes we've seen in which direction your taste runs all except at the dinner table right or would you like me to repost your own photo for a reminder LOL have got no personal experience with the bike but have read a lot good things about it and only a very few bad things

the 650 is similiar to SV650,
I'm surprised they were able to build a carbed 650 that passes the current emission standards.
I have to say the 250 and 650 are nice looking bikes for sure, but i would buy a JAP bike only.
Has anyone heard of ZONGSHEN bikes? There 250 is nice looking as well, but slow has hell.
