I posted my tv in this forum and a month later I'm still happy with my purchase and wouldn't of bought another tv. I saw my same model with a tv stand only it was a 55" at cosco when I was back home for like $1500. It's a LCOS Sony WEGA, so its not wall mountable it looks like a crt, but it is full 1080p and 2 hdmi 3 component and a computer input.

I have the Bravia from Sony for the main TV but if price is a concern that ain't the one you want. Like I said, the Vizio is a great bedroom TV.
yeah sony is a total brand name - if you want a nice sony, (and i've been looking at this SOB for the longest time) kdl-40xbr3 (or kdl-40xbr2) they are all nice and on ebay, there are just a couple of stores that sell them but for pretty cheap price..

i mean alot of flat-screens look good in bedroom - just make sure you get 1080p. And figure out what you want out of your TV..
here is my system =P

i dont have my PS3 down here (kept it up in idaho) but i got surround sound, 360 and my laptop hooked up to it (you ever seen **** on a big screen? muhaha)

just do some research before you buy man, you can always have find deals online (i will research a product then go to the brick&mortar and look at it in person to make sure i like the quality before i buy online) it's not my fault best buy, frys and the other big companies stopped haggling on tv prices.

I got a 50" Samsung Plasma about 3-4 weeks ago. It listed for $1899 and I got it out the door for $1650. HH Gregg (mid-west store) still allows haggling and so far the picture is great. I love it.

yeah idk if it's because im only 22 and they think i don't have money or if they did put a policy with no more haggling - but best buy and fry's will not do it, i even asked about two 40's XBR3's (one for me and the other for my dad) and they said they will only match other brick and mortar prices..

haha ok, so i'm gonna go to best buy ask for a price then go back to frys and buy it just because you matched it? i gave them the finger for wasting my time - still been looking around but novemeber will be the bomb month to get a new tv, better wake up at 5am to get ahead of the crowd. (it's kind-of far away, but it will go fast)

Why do you want crappy picture quality? Thats all LCD is good for. Go with a DLP, you wont be disappointed, trust me (46" Toshiba DLP here ). DLP > lcd, plasma, LCD RP

I got the Vizio 1080 LCD for $929 at Sam's Club. I love it. I've had it for 6 months or so. Madden '08 is great this year, mainly because I have this TV to play it on.

I have the sony 40 s2010. I am considering the Vizio for the spare rooms. I didn't like the plasma visios (went for the hitachi 55) but I haven't really looked at the smaller vizio lcd, but yeah, the price is pretty good, and it is only a TV, and TV in general sucks, so I will look at the Vizios.
