Also take into account the fact that as long as someone is technically doing their job, they can't really get fired for just being unlikeable/gossipy. Sad but true.
depends on your state labor laws, and any employee contracts. it's fairly easy to eliminate an employee in right-to-work states.

It's a lot harder to fire people than you'd think though, and as long as someone is technically doing their job, it's unlikely someone's going to try and get them fired.

Talking time for an upper deck

this guy has no self worth, lifts himself up by degrading all. stop by his house and ask to use his restroom, lift off the tank cover on the toilet and pinch one in the tank , replace cover, poof an upper deck- the gift that keeps on giving... love me , hate me but do it to my face... no time for chit talkin assclowns.

Like already said, theres people like this where ever you go.

Ignore it and dont let him get you with his mind games.

If he has his own mug, rim it good. Then sit back and try not to laugh as he sips away.

one of the best (and fun) ways to approach it is change their responsibilities: give them a job that'll MAKE them want to quit... 8D

All offices have this type of person & if your boss is any good, he would already know what a two faced bastard he is. He would have been told this by the other office necessity, the Sycophant, yep, the one nobody suspects & is relating everything of interest to your boss. The office environment breeds people like this, lets not forget the office ***** (male or female) that think it's easier to bonk their way up the corporate ladder than actually do their job. Then you have the guy/girl that gets to work earlier & leaves latter than anyone else & they let everyone know they do, do they do any extra work? who knows, there is no one there to tell. And then there's the office brown nose "Another cup of coffee boss".....
Just keep your head down & your bum up, do your job well & show everyone that you don't give a rat's
