Default Twice in one day!!

So I was out running some errands today and went to wal~Mart and Advanced auto.. first stop Advanced.... as I go to saddle up on the way out this young 18 yr old kid walks up and comments " Nice bike", Me :Thank you", him "how is it on gas", me "Great", him"is it high maintenance?", me"not really just when it comes to repairs parts sometimes are not cheap", him "cool thanks have a nice day".....
so I leave go to Wal~Mart and when I am getting ready to leave I have an almost exact conversation with a 17 yr old kid that wants to take the course..... I could not believe that not once did either one ask me that How fast does it go Question... I now have hope...

I saw a guy last night...must have weighed 300 pounds on a rather rough looking R6.

Nice enough guy though...but anyone that big needs a bigger bike...or diet.

Hell, I'm big boned...(5'10...5'11...205 lbs.) and I need a bigger bike just for the simple reason that a 600 that is not a Kwakker 636 or new 600R is too small...imo.

Earth to Japan...Earth to Japan.

The U.S. consists of riders who are taller than 4'11...and weigh 90 lbs.

Build bigger bikes. Not heavier...just...bigger.

Orange Glad to see youre back on the saddle. Yea, those are the kids that might actually survive their first sportbike experience.

It's nice to see there are some people out there who don't have stupid questions to ask.

It's nice to see there are some people out there who don't have stupid questions to ask.
I wish that were the case around here.

I get these all the time.........

"It is a Gixxer?"
"Honda makes bikes?"
"Why didn't you get the 1000?"
"Do you wheelie on it?"
"Is that leather? Aren't you hot?"
......blah.......blah.......blah.

Now I just nod and leave. Every-so-often I'll get a cool one that asks a couple of smart questions, but around here, everyone is retarded (must be something in the water.)

I did have an odd experience a couple months ago though.

It was about 2 am, and I was riding home from a long ride. I was wearing leather jacket, helmet, gloves, reinforced riding jeans with my Sidi boots (the Doha ones that kind of look like shoes.) This dude pulls up in a truck next to me and yells out "cool boots dude!" I canted my head like a dog. Of all the things I've heard before, "nice bike, nice jacket, etc." I've never been complimented on my boots. He must have had a fetish or something.
