Keep saving your money, you are about half way to a used CTS-V.

350Z's are too common out here.. Same with mustangs, and maros, and civic ricers,
if you want to stand out get an older maro/mustang. I.E, 72-85 mustang and maros, You can get one pretty cheap, easy upgrades, and easy to work on.
best year tho is 79 maro. (what i got.) nasty car!
Just saying! Haha!

My 3cents.... I have owned two eclipses. Loved every minute of both. The 4g63t motors are one of the best built motors still to date. You have two different classes for the second gens. You have a 2Ga and 2Gb. The difference is not only in the style. But the tranny. The 2Ga has a six bolt and can handle a lot more then the 2Gb 7bolt which is phone to what is called crank walk usually around 90k-120k miles. If you don't know what crank walk is, it is where the bearing on the crank spins out of place. But a few bolt ons...I.e. turbo back exhaust, 16g or greater turbo, intake and manifold, fmic. N your making big power. Of course this is dealing with the gst (fwd turbo) and the gsx (awd turbo model)
