I've seen quite a few carb'd R6's going for your price point, although they're a little older than what you're looking for. You should try to find a street-ridden crashed bike with a salvage title but clean frame/motor and build it up. You're probably gonna wanna redo the suspension and all of that stuff in the end anyways.
