When I try to load an avatar, I get this message.

Result:
There was an error saving the file to disk.

The file is not to big. I'm not sure what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Try posting the image you want to use as an avatar within the body of your post as a test .. that'll probably help figure out the problem

 

I posted the image in the body and clicked preview and the image was there. It just doesn't work when I try to load it on "My Profile" page in the avatar section.

 

looks like its their now, but its jacking the page up too! hrm...only when you are the last post though.

 

Guys, I think he wants a picture under his name...not in the body of the post like a banner. C-love, you might have to resize the picture for it to fit in the avatar section. I would resize it close to actual size, and try uploading that picture.

I can't help, but I can comment, I'am not very computer literite, [:@] just tell these guys what you want, and they can like make it happen, its kinda scary.....[sm=insomnia.gif]..... like my bank account aint safe or they got cameras in my house watching me LOL !!!!!!!!! just kidding, like I said tell em what you want and from the mainframe they make it happen [sm=smiley20.gif]

If anyone can help, this is what I would like for my avatar. I tried it again but it's not working. Might be a computer issue, I've got a Mac, not a PC. That shouldn't really make a difference I don't think. Thanks for the help though.

 

Okay, I just changed my avatar to the picture you wanted so I know this method works:

I resized the picture (the original image is too big...I tried) so save this:

Now, go to my "my profile", click the "upload", select the smaller picture and upload, NOW scroll down to the bottom and click "APPLY" otherwise the change will not take.
