Here's a few trackday photos from yesterday, 9/23, at Gateway Int'l in St. Louis. Was put on through MCRA (midwest cafe racers association) of which I'm a member. Had a good day...working on cornering lines and corner setup mostly. Was fortunate enough to be in the pits next to a guy who races with CCS and worked with me during the morning showing me better lines and gave some other invaluable advice.

Great pis dwhite! I just did my second track day. It made me realize how much I have to work on. haha. Still, it's a blast.

 

Thanks guys. So, as requested, here's a few more. The guy on the white GSXR is Scott, who I mentioned, is the guy who was giving me good tips and stuff. Another guy next to me came over with one of those digital laser temp gauges and shot it on my tires. It's amazing, after each session, the tire's surface temp was about 145-150 degrees on the sides. The centers weren't quite that hot. It's amazing when you think about it how much friction and forces these tires take when running it really hard. Extra heat also raised the PSI about 3-4 degrees F in each tire.

And this is Scott, the guy who helped me out with lines and stuff. Because of him, I kept getting faster and faster through out the day and actually was making passes on others - for once hahaha.
