Default Totally almost got run over, TWICE!

I was on my way back to work from lunch, just dropped off a package at UPS. I was in the left lane passing a truck and the guy starts to get over just as I'm passing him, no big deal, hit the brakes and move onto the shoulder, look at him, hes on his phone holding it with his left hand, he cant even see me by his window glaring at him. Ok, no biggy, happens all the time. Merge behind him and the truck that was right behind him did the same exact thing! Holy ****, now Im starting to get iffy about it, he looks left right at the last moment when Im already on the shoulder, he pulls back and stays back until he can get behind me and keeps his distance. Both guys on the phone, holding them with their left hands so they have no periphereal vision. First guy never even saw me or knew what he did. Second guy I could tell felt bad and like an idiot. Damn cell phones!!!

you shouldve pulled up next to the first guy and dropped a gear or two (assuming you have an aftermarket pipe)... its hard to hear the other person on the phone when theres a bike at 12k rpm sitting next to you [8D]

That sucks! We need just a fairly new law here in CA where it's illegal to talk on the phone while driving. However, hands-free is an exception.
